Still more of the same camouflage but this time in hot weather testing. It seems some of the blogs can’t decide whether or not this is the next Range Rover or Range Rover Sport. Either way, I’m sure they’ll do a good job. For me, it’s the interior I have to see, and they better be going all out on this one.

Carscoop – 2013 Range Rover Spied Out in the Open wearing New Body
We’ve been seeing these test vehicles for the upcoming 2013 Range Rover redesign. But from what I have seen, these are the first ones with interior shots. Not too much to see, lots of wires and testing specific hardware, but the interesting item, is the Range Rover Evoque style steering wheel.
Also, they’re confirming this version as a Diesel Hybrid, can’t wait to hear more!!

I knew this info would start appearing as soon as I put in an order for my next one. And on top of the AutoExpress article, I actually had a Ferrari owner contact me today saying he got some info from another Ferrari owner when they toured the factory in Italy and that in the UK dealers had received a briefing. I know that sounds convoluted & generic, but it’s quite a coincidence.
So anyway check it out below, not much to see with this just being a mule, but what’s going on in the rear there, between the exhausts?

More photos of the 4-door Range Rover Evoque and some real interior shots – although not much to see, they’re still using the Jaguar steering wheel for testing, I wonder if that will show up in production or if they’ll go with the standard Land Rover steering wheel. Also of note, and I’m not sure if it’s just a trick of the eye, but it looks like there is just one big dial for the gauge cluster – maybe they’ll go full LCD for that?

The article talks about that really small rear window, but it’s more like every window on this vehicle is really small.
