The Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Pivi Pro system is equipped with advanced features that allow users to stay connected and updated while on the road. Here are some of the JLR requirements for a successful update, as of 9/2024:

TCU must be activated
The vehicle must have a good network connection.
BEV and PHEV vehicles must not be charging the main battery (not 12v).
BEV and PHEV vehicles, main battery should be more than 25% charged.
The vehicle must be locked.
The windows must be fully raised and calibrated.
The 12v battery must have sufficient Ah to complete the campaign.
There must be no scheduled (timed) climate event.
Remote start must not be active.
The hazard warning lamps must not be on.
The alarm must not be triggered (active).
The brakes must not be too hot.
External temperature should not be below – 10C.

PHEV only: Please note that for a short period of time, you may experience some disruption in the EV capabilities after the update has completed. Please disconnect the vehicle charger and ensure the battery has a minimum charge level of 25% before starting the update.

Pivi Pro 4.3.1
OS Release 4.3.1

Direct to your Defender: new software update available now.

This includes
– Sunroof status within InControl Remote app optimizations (Applicable vehicles)
– Adjustment to support mobile network 3G sunset
– Enhancements to diagnostics
– Improvements to the telematic backup power system.

Audio quality improvements which resolves
– Rear Traffic Alert may be inaudible in some instances.
– Sound may be played through the incorrect audio channel on Meridian Sound System.

This update also brings bug fixes and general performance advancements to the following systems where applicable
– Propulsion systems
– Vehicle communication network

– Traffic on your commute is now visible in the home screen navigation panel
– ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) information is now visible in the home screen and Interactive Driver Display.

If you experience abrupt Android Auto wireless disconnection; Please relaunch using the Android Auto icon from App-drawer or reconnect device over Bluetooth, should it not recover automatically.
