Intelligent car windows offer more comfort and safety

Intelligent Glass Control uses special films, which are inserted into the glass that change their transparency through electric control signals. This allows all car windows to be darkened with the touch of a button. This works in a very selective and incremental way. You can trigger individual windows and you can also determine the degree of darkening, so to say you can dim your windows. This not only offers increased comfort for passengers, but also makes driving safer. A typical example is a low sun on the horizon. The driver’s hand goes from the steering wheel to the sun visor. This causes not only impaired visibility but also a brief decrease in control of the vehicle. In the future such situations can be detected in advance, and the windows could darken automatically before the event even occurs.

When a call is transferred from Bluetooth® to Apple CarPlay the audio will no longer sometimes drop out.
USB devices will no longer automatically connect as CarPlay when the user has set it up to ask first.

AUDIO
Popping noise will no longer sometimes be heard on all sources

BLUETOOTH® AUDIO
Phones using iOS13 can now browse through music folder when connected by Bluetooth® Audio

CONNECTED DEVICES
iPod will no longer be displayed as a source after the iPhone™ has been disconnected

CLIMATE
Improved stability of climate controls through the rear seat entertainment system
While navigating from Rear Climate to Front Climate, the header will no longer be seen as Rear Climate instead of Front Climate
InControl© Touch Pro Duo systems only, AUTO Button will no longer be inhibited on the lower touchscreen when in MAX air conditioning

MEDIA PLAYER
Improved stability of Media player
‘Device does not contain any playable media’ message is no longer sometimes shown for a USB source even though playable media is there.
Play/pause softkey will show Play when a song is playing in the “Now playing Screen” after the restart of the vehicle.

NAVIGATION
Improved stability of Navigation System

SEATS
Improved stability of Automatic massage feature
Improved stability of Massage controls

SYSTEM
General system stability improvements
