Just something I noticed – Land Rover has been using obviously blank space/uneven spacing in a few different places.

Here’s the updated Terrain Response controls for the the coming 2011 Range Rover – why didn’t they just center the icons – is the Range Rover getting the Sport’s Dynamic Response mode?  Just seems odd to be so off-center.

Then on the latest iteration of the Land Rover US Website – the home page also has a glaring blank spot.

I realize there isn’t a vehicle available here to fit in there just yet, but why not do a better redesign and spread the items across evenly?  All they did was take the UK layout and remove the Defender.  I don’t think it would really be that difficult/cost that much to do a slight redesign for one of their biggest markets.

UPDATE: I’ve gotten a few questions as to where these latest images came from – the international version of the Land Rover site is live with the Autobiography Black Limited Edition, as a full model selection on the Range Rover page.

There aren’t too many pictures out there of the new Range Rover Evoque.  And there aren’t any pictures of the interior.  I zoomed and cropped some of the pictures they’ve given us.

Headlight assembly – those fog lights seem like a lot of bling, but the whole effect looks good.

Here are a couple of the hood vents, I assume they say Range Rover.

And finally a couple shots of the interior, not sure if those seats will see final production.

We can see both the car they revealed and the one used in the official press shot are Left Hand Drive with those red sport seats.

UPDATE: IT”S LIVE NOW

As seen on the Interactive Land Rover site, it looks like there will be a domain devoted to the new Range Rover Evoque – just doesn’t seem to be working yet.  Although it does have a cool “R” favicon.

It was registered on May 22 through godaddy and looks to still be hosted there, it was registered by an individual with a residential address in the UK.  I wonder what other Land Rover domains are hiding out there?

And Google did index it at some point in the last couple hours, but it’s not cached:
