This is from a few months back but still interesting – can’t say I love every design decision made for this but those floor mats really look cool.

Going back to 1997 with this video, from a VHS tape provided to all new owners at the time.  Broken up here into three parts, it’s over 30 minutes in length and covers most of what every owner needs to know.

    Enjoy, it’s classic Range Rover.

Interesting Evoque marketing for the Chinese Market, no idea what they’re saying but it looks interesting.  Website is so heavily Flash based, it’s annoying and doesn’t actually work in any iOS devices.  But they do offer apps for iOS & Android.

This is interesting, well interesting to me at least…

Not sure how new this is to the UK Range Rover site, but while I was checking it, as I do from time to time, there was a new item listed – “Headlining”.  In the US, the only leather headliner option is for the Range Rover Autobiography package and with that I believe there are really only two colors.

For the UK listing it appears to be available across the entire range, from the lowly Vogue to the range topping Autobiography

    Autobiography:

What started in 2011 in the Europe diesel models continues in 2012 with the Range Rover Sport & Discovery 4 getting the Rotary Shift Selector.  And with the main gear selector going rotary, people would start to get confused between that knob and the ubiquitously round Terrain Response knob.  The Evoque’s got the same thing.

But now in the 2012 Discovery 4 Press Release, we get an actual name for the horizontal layout that replaced the Terrain Response Knob.  Picture below shows the Evoque, it’s slightly different in the Range Rover.

To avoid confusion, the Terrain Response Rotary Switch is replaced by a new Terrain Response Optimisation Switch.

    Interesting stuff, huh?  HA!
