  • Next Range Rover Sport L494 interior finally spied! #rangerover

    Published On: July 24, 2012

It’s looking more and more like the next Range Rover Sport is ready to be released.  In the first actual interior shots of the next Range Rover Sport, codenamed L494, we see a new gearshift lever.  As soon as I saw it, it reminded me of the F-Type spyshots that were going around.  And then they confirmed that in the article too.

So the Range Rover will stick with the rotary dial and the performance models will get the BMW-esque lever?  This is a fun one.

I wonder if the final model will include that roll cage…

  • Is the next Range Rover getting the Evoque’s glass roof? #rangerover

    Published On: July 20, 2012

From the same article showing the exposed front and rear lighting, we get a glimpse of the roof.  Not the clearest shots but there’s definitely something new going on there.

  • 2013/14 Range Rover L405, headlights & taillights unmasked #rangerover

    Published On: July 20, 2012

In these latest shots from Car Magazine, the camouflage has been removed from the front and rear lights.  We’re actually getting to see the Evoque effect.

I’m good with the front lights, the rears look a little chunky, almost reminds me of the tall rear light assembly on the LR4(Discovery 4).

Also, is it just me or does that rear light remind you of Flash’s mask or the Harry Potter Snitch?

  • 2014 Range Rover Sport Spy Shots #rangerover

    Published On: July 16, 2012

The latest round of Range Rover Sport spy shots showed up online today and the Evoq-ative design language continues.  There is an interior shot here too, looks just like the design we’ve been seeing on the real thing.UPDATE: Interior shot is an old spy shot from the Range Rover, not the Range Rover Sport.

  • 2013/2014 Range Rover, new spyshot from MotorAuthority #rangerover

    Published On: July 16, 2012

UPDATE: The article that this post links to has been pulled from MotorAuthority, so I am updating the link to the image.

Less camo, but still not clear on what they’re doing with those doors.  Also from this angle and in one solid color, the side looks very tall.  I wonder what the actual ratio of vertical glass to door is compared with the L322.  And there’s another one peeking through in the back right.
