Pivi Pro OS 3.2.0 Release Notes

OS 3.2.0 Release notes

In this release, we’re making further improvements to the performance of the Pivi system. As well as  various bug fixes, we’ve made changes to how some features operate and included a few exciting additions.

Here are thehighlights:

Integration of what3words:
– Share your location or navigate to any navigable place on the planet using a unique set of 3 words for a 3m square location. Just type the unique 3 words into the navigation search box to set a destination (e.g. clean.corporate.card), or long press on a location to reveal in the place details the 3 word combination. Go to what3words.com for more information.

22MY EV vehicles only:
– New charging interface. Select from Immediate, Smart Charging and now Low-Cost Hours Only to fully capitalise on low-cost electricity tariffs. Selectable charge level now added to allow a specific maximum charge level to be set based on driver preference. E.g., between 80-95% to preserve one pedal driving experience or set a charging limit when charging at public charging stations.

Predictive Energy Optimisation (PHEV Vehicles only):
– The navigation system now shares the regular journeys it learns over time with the vehicle’s powertrain. This provides the most efficient deployment of electrical energy over the journey.

Updated EV home tile (applicable vehicles only):
– Added charge % to the home tile in addition to predicted range.

USB enhancements:
– Music now plays where left off on the next journey.
– Tracks now play based on original album/folder order rather than alphabetically.

Amap (China) and Tmap (S. Korea) account sign-in improvements.

TOP TIP: With a phone connected over Bluetooth and a destination set in Pivi Pro’s navigation system, share your arrival time with friends/family by saying “Hey <wake up word of your choice>, send updates of my arrival time to <name of person in your phone contacts>’

OS 3.2.0 Release notes

We’ve been listening to your feedback and packaged up a number of improvements to the performance of our Driver Assistance technologies, all designed to enhance your driving experience

Adaptive Cruise Control:
– When changing lanes, we’ve improved how the vehicle detects the speed of traffic in the new lane, allowing for a more responsive, and yet smoother adaption to the speed of vehicles ahead
– Overall refinements to traffic awareness, resulting in a smoother transition and adjustment of the vehicles speed when following vehicles
– Auto-resume from a standstill (for example when queuing in traffic) has been extended to 30 seconds, from the previous 3 seconds
– General performance improvements

Driver Condition Monitoring:
– The system logic for displaying Driver Fatigue messages has been updated to account for when the driver is already slowing down with the intent to pull over

General Improvements:
– Traffic Sign Recognition – improved recognition performance, reducing cases where signs in side roads may have been detected causing an incorrect speed limit to be displayed
– Automatic Emergency Braking / Forward Collision Warning – Scene detection performance improvement to reduce the possibility of the system mistakenly providing an emergency alert
– Automatic Emergency Braking Unavailable messages – The self-diagnosis system has been improved to reduce cases where these messages may have been incorrectly displayed

All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC)
– Removed the possibility to set Adaptive Cruise Control whilst ATPC is in standby

Please note: The availability of the above features is  dependent on vehicle specification
