Armored Range Rover – Interesting finds

So we don’t hear too much about the Armored Range Rover, let alone see one.  I’ve got the owner’s manual from one and it’s got some interesting info.

Apparently, not only do you lose the SRS Airbag features, but you also give up your front cup holders for a switch-pack reminiscent of something in the Batmobile.ArmoredSwitchPanel

I’ll post more soon – the Fresh Air System has some cool accessories.

Great PistonHeads article on their drive of a body-less Range Rover

I had only seen these in old pictures, never realized Land Rover still had them stored somewhere.  I wonder what the logistics are like in getting a fleet one of a kind Range Rovers to Portugal.PistonHeads-RR
