2010 Range Rover Autobiography – Interiors?

Well a lot of the information coming officially from Land Rover can be confusing or contradicting; I’m going to just go with the latest pics. As per the official Land Rover 2010 Media site, these are the Autobiography colors available. They have added an Autobiography section to the 2010 media site however they still have very Autobiography specific shots mixed into the general interior pictures – but as I said their info can be confusing, not sure if it’s too many people working on this with little communication or one person who just doesn’t keep up with it?

Anyway – here are some Autobiography interiors, not sure what exactly that means, if they are the only choices now or just samples of what we’ll see – again confusing – more to come…

And just to clarify, beyond the color schemes shown the Autobiography interior is identified by the full leather headliner.

2010 Range Rover – Reclining Rear Seat option– more information

And again from the LR UK site, some specifics on the Rear Sear Recline option:

Reclining rear seats with four-way lumbar control, heated/cooled functionality, head restraints with lateral support.

2010 Range Rover – Hi Res Shot of the new Smart Key

New Range Rover can be started with the key inside the cabin, but you’ll still need to press the unlock button to unlock the doors – looks like the existing BMW hardware isn’t going to be modified, unlike the Range Rover Sport or LR4 which can unlock with a grab of the door handle.

2010 Range Rover Dual View Video

Here’s a great video showing the Dual View screen in action. And although I would assume something like this would never show up in the US; In the Autoweek (June 1, 2009, Page 25) review of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid, which has the same technology – a Mercedes board member says their expecting US approval by the end of this year. So maybe there’s hope for the Range Rover too.

2010 Range Rover – Rear Seat Entertainment – Front Supervisor Screen

I never realized how controllable the RSE system is, you can select the source and send it to the appropriate screen and even mix and match the audio & video sources indivdually – this is the front Supervisor screen which has full control over what the people in the back are seeing, if you lock a setting in here, the rear remote control cannot bypass that setting.
