If your 2023 Range Rover didn’t get Hands-free Tailgate, call your dealer

Looks like the parts are back in stock and your dealer can replace the dummy hands-free tailgate module with the real thing.
Appears to be VINs from SALKABAU0PA013895 to SALKABAW1PA01597 but that might have changed.
You should get a letter from JLR directly but in case you don’t, reference:

We are providing a Customer Satisfaction Program free of charge to owners of certain 2022 and 2023 model year Discovery, Range Rover, Range Rover Velar and Range Rover Evoque vehicles.
Why are we contacting you?
Unfortunately, when you received your vehicle, we were unable to supply the hands-free tailgate feature due to the global shortage of semiconductors affecting our supply chain. We are pleased to announce that the parts required are now available and you can now arrange for your vehicle to have the hands-free tailgate feature installed.
This easy-to-use system detects your movement around the tailgate and will open when given a simple gesture. This means no more setting down bags to open or close the tailgate, simply gesture below the bumper, and the tailgate can open or close completely hands-free.
What will your Jaguar Land Rover retailer/authorized repairer do?
We will install a hands-free tailgate module and activate the feature. This will be done free of charge under the terms of this program.
How long will it take?
We will complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimize inconvenience to you. Your retailer or authorized repairer will advise how long they will need your vehicle when you make the booking.
What we are asking you to do
Call your preferred Jaguar Land Rover retailer/authorized repairer without delay. Quote your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) (located at the beginning of this letter) and vehicle registration number, ask for a repair date for N714. If you do not have a retailer/authorized repairer, please access www.landrover.co.uk or www.landrover.co.uk, for contact details.
If you have trouble getting your vehicle repaired promptly and free of charge, contact the retailer/authorized repairer Service Manager for assistance.
