It may not be in English, but the pictures attached to this article are in my opinion the best yet:

We’re getting closer to actual release and the pictures are starting to show up all over. It’s clearly still a Range Rover even with the finishing details still under cover. The fast-back look with the rear spoiler is something I’m still getting used to – along with that odd boxy-ness at the rear glass. Pictures link to original articles.

Some nice tweaks for the Sport in 2013, let’s hope the next 2013MY announcement is a bit more exciting though.
Just a few inconsistencies in the official PR released. The tech documents, although named 2013 are titled 2012 within the document. And the last line of the press release says:
“Gears are selected by the rotary gear shifter and steering wheel paddle shift.”
On the Range Rover Sport with a gasoline engine and the six speed transmission, it’s always been the standard gear selector, the pictures showing the 2013 interior also show the standard gear selector.
Details, details.

Reading through the Land Rover/Range Rover news of the day, I noticed a small blurb from Businessweek describing what debuts we’ll see in Beijing for the Auto China 2012. Searching around a bit, it seemed no one else had published this except for them.

For those that don’t know, Land Rover put up this teaser video with a countdown to the official unveiling on Sunday in Beijing.

So we will know soon enough but now with less surprise.
It’s the new Ford Explorer Sport.

A reader sent something in that I had also been noticing over the past few days. After passing literally three new Explorers in a row, I started to see a real resemblance to those latest spy shots of the 2013 Range Rover (L405).
It’s got the Range Rover classic floating roof (at least A & B pillars), hood contours & those wrap around Evoque headlights – even a three bar grill. I won’t even bring up Terrain Response this time.
Hmm…
