Is the next Range Rover getting the Evoque’s glass roof? #rangerover
From the same article showing the exposed front and rear lighting, we get a glimpse of the roof. Not the clearest shots but there’s definitely something new going on there.

In these latest shots from Car Magazine, the camouflage has been removed from the front and rear lights. We’re actually getting to see the Evoque effect.
I’m good with the front lights, the rears look a little chunky, almost reminds me of the tall rear light assembly on the LR4(Discovery 4).
Also, is it just me or does that rear light remind you of Flash’s mask or the Harry Potter Snitch?

Less camo, but still not clear on what they’re doing with those doors. Also from this angle and in one solid color, the side looks very tall. I wonder what the actual ratio of vertical glass to door is compared with the L322. And there’s another one peeking through in the back right.

Another shot from the Autoweek.nl photos:
So here we see the engine without a logo cover on it. The things that caught my eye are the vents running along the edge of the body and the possible mates in the hood. Could these be functional hood air vents, following the design of the Evoque or the Jaguar R vehicles?

More from the Autoweek.nl treasure trove:
So all our original assumptions are true and the tailgate layout is definitely a little different for this next Range Rover. We can probably assume the top of the tailgate is motorized. And even though the externally visual section of the lower tailgate has shrunk, it appears to be almost the same as the current model counting with the trim you don’t see with the tailgate closed.
Interesting…
