Land Rover launches the new 2011 Defender X-Tech Limited Edition
A new Defender limited edition is always fun but bittersweet because I know we’ll never see it in the US, at least not in it’s current iteration. After doing a complete restore on 1971 Series IIA(www.roverhaul.com), it’s the little things on the Defender that really catch my eye. Even with 40 years separating my 1971 and this 2011, the 2011 still has visible pop-rivets – very cool! Even that “upgraded interior” – it’s just so classic Land Rover – window controls in the center!
