2011 Range Rover – Official Land Rover Video

A great Land Rover video to launch the 2011 Range Rover.

Roger Crathorne narrates a story of his work on the original promotional videos for the 1971 Range Rover and connects it to the newly updated 2011 Range Rover.

2011 Range Rover – Exterior Design Pack

So it appears that the picture we posted the other day may not have been a pre-production 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Autobiography Black, but a new UK option for 2011 – The Exterior Design Pack.

It’s described by Land Rover as:

  • The Range Rover’s new Exterior Design Pack creates a deeper, wider road presence with its striking immediacy. It is genuine Range Rover design that integrates seamlessly with the vehicle’s classic lines and proportions to offer reinvigoration and new excitement in eight exterior colours; Fuji White, Baltic Blue, Bournville, Ipanema Sand, Nara Bronze, Stornoway Grey, Santorini Black, and Zermatt Silver. Features include unique bumpers and new side sills, a front grille, side vents and fog lamp surrounds in Titan silver, and stainless steel exhausts finishers. There is also a set of stunning Style 18, 20 inch shadow chrome finish alloy wheels available as the recommended Designers Choice. It’s that Range Rover look reinvented.
Please note: Fitting the Exterior Design Pack will affect the off-road capability of the vehicle.

The package isn’t available in the US yet, but for the UK it is a £3,380 option and the wheels recommended to go along with the design are an additional, £750 – thanks to Gary for the tip.

2011 Range Rover

So it’s here at least in the UK – June 17th – the 40th Anniversary of the Range Rover and the day they lift the embargo on the 2011 Range Rover info.

New options, a Limited Edition model & more – I’ll try to get a bunch of info up shortly.

Here’s something to start with and along with that picture they state:

For 2011, paddle-shift is standard on 5.0-litre Supercharged and an option on 5.0-litre Naturally Aspirated vehicles

And in this shot you can see that down-shift paddle peaking through, is it just me or are there a ridiculous amount of buttons in this cropped shot:
