The Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Pivi Pro system is equipped with advanced features that allow users to stay connected and updated while on the road. Here are some of the JLR requirements for a successful update, as of 9/2024:

TCU must be activated
The vehicle must have a good network connection.
BEV and PHEV vehicles must not be charging the main battery (not 12v).
BEV and PHEV vehicles, main battery should be more than 25% charged.
The vehicle must be locked.
The windows must be fully raised and calibrated.
The 12v battery must have sufficient Ah to complete the campaign.
There must be no scheduled (timed) climate event.
Remote start must not be active.
The hazard warning lamps must not be on.
The alarm must not be triggered (active).
The brakes must not be too hot.
External temperature should not be below – 10C.

First, thank you!

As we’ll see the House of Range Rover branding extends to the bulletins.  As with other documents like this, there are typos.  Don’t take everything as total truth.  I think they swapped some of the options list on the P530 SE and the P550 Autobiography.  Think logically if something seems wrong.

Quick details of what’s new:

  • New P615 V8 MHEV powertrain for SWB & LWB SV variants
    Power increased from 523hp to 607hp
    Torque 553lb-ft
    0-60mph
    SWB improves from 4.4s to 4.3s
    LWB improves from 4.5s to 4.4s
  • New P550e PHEV powertrain replaces P440e from 23MY
    Power increased from 434hp to 542hp
    Torque increased from 457lb-ft to 590 lb-ft
    0-60mph
    SWB improves from 5.7s to 4.8s

Initiatially, the P550e powertrain will be available exclusively in the SWB Autobiography variant with the potential for availability in the SWB SE later in the model year.

    New sidebars with easy-to-use sliding controls for volume and climate control.

    Whatever menu screen is displayed, approximately 80 percent of tasks can be performed within two taps of the home screen.
    Haptic feedback provides an added level of tactility and communication with the user.

2020 Range Rover Full US Order Guide – everyone gets an HSE!

The 2020 Range Rover Sport info last week tipped off all the changes coming to the real Range Rover – A $130,300 PHEV Autobiography was unexpected.  Supercharged designation is still dead.

What’s New

Exterior
-Two new paint colors
  -Eiger Grey (replacing Corris Grey)
  -Portofino Blue (replacing Loire Blue)
-Black Pack Availability
  -032EI will now be available on Range Rover trim levels for the first time, previously Black Pack was only available for HSE & Supercharged models.
-The Black Pack is available with three choices of black wheel:
-029TN: 21” Style 9001, 9 spoke, Gloss Black
-031NY: 22” Style 9012, 9 spoke, Gloss Black
-031YM 22" Style 5004, 5 split-spoke, Gloss Black
-Please refer to page 20 for pricing for each derivative
-Badges
-From 2020 model year, similar to Range Rover Velar and Range Rover Sport all Range Rover derivatives (excluding SV products) will carry a trim level badge and a power output badge prefixed with P or D depending on the fuel type.
-For example: the existing 254hp TDV6 will be badged as the D260 along with the trim level badge.
-Supercharged models will now have “P525 HSE” on the rear tailgate of the vehicle.
-Shadow Walnut is now the standard fit trim finisher for Range Rover, HSE & Supercharged derivatives.

-Reductions to Option Complexity
-CD/DVD Player now linked to Rear Seat Entertainment
-Feedback from our retailers and customers has highlighted that there is an expectation that the RSE option should also include the CD/DVD player.
-Removal of 8” Rear Seat Entertainment
-This feature has been removed due to low take rates at 18MY and 19MY. The low take rate of 8” RSE is partially driven by improvements in the functionality of the 10.2” screens and 8” RSE not being available with Executive Class seats.
-The Entertainment pack has now been updated to include the 10.2” RSE rather than the 8” RSE.
-Removal of Gesture Sunblind
-Customer feedback was that this feature was rarely used and could be inadvertently activated by reaching to adjust the rear view mirror. Customer impact is minimal as the physical buttons that adjust the sunblind will remain,as will the auto open/close function when the engine is started and stopped.
-Autobiography Seating Choices
-300LZ is now available for Autobiography models, this offers customers the 24way front seat with the rear bench seat to give customers a viable alternative to Executive Rear Seating without degrading front seat comfort. As a result,the previous alternative seat, 300LY will no longer be available for ATB models.
-Smoker’s Pack
-Due to low take rates for the front smokers’ pack, we removed the fronts mokers’ pack option, leaving only the front and rear smokers’ pack.

New Ingenium 6 cylinder Engines in 355hp & 395hp outputs.
